We just got the report, and saw the sirens/sheriff boat mobilizing. We heard that a boat capsized on Portage near Bootjack.
Advise it is a good day to party at the dock. Please alert OYC.

... Gusty southwest winds expected today over the Keweenawpeninsula... Gusty southwest winds will develop over the Keweenaw peninsula todaybehind a cold front that moved through early this morning. The windsare expected to gradually increase through the day... with the highestgusts expected during the afternoon and early evening. The peak gustsduring the afternoon will be around 40 mph... with a few gusts to 45mph possible over exposed locations including Brockway mountain.While there will be some diminishment to the winds tonight... theyare still expected to gust between 25 and 35 mph.Wind gusts to 40 mph could down smaller tree limbs and lead todifficult driving conditions for high profile vehicles.
