"Save Answers"

Just testing a survey (haven't done one for a while).

Is the "Save Answers" option on the About You page new? Do you have to check it as well as "Proceed to next step" in order for answers to be saved?

Also, (+)ALL doesn't seem to work -- do you press the Plus Sign or the text ALL? (Can't take the survey offline just now to see if I checked the button to "allow select all" but assume that it wouldn't show as an option if I hadn't checked it.

Sorry - been so busy fixing this that I forgot to post an update here. The +All button now works.

The 'Save Answers' option is new. Answers are also saved as soon as you click somewhere on the screen (e.g. Proceed to next step).

If answers are saved when you proceed to next step, then what is the purpose of having "Save Answers" ? 

(testers are asking!)

It's funny isn't. We added the button after people said that their answers weren't saved. The scenario was that they started to do the survey, but had to do something else and didn't want to click 'next' so just wanted to save what they had done.

In the situations where you are actively doing the survey there's no need to click 'save'.
