INET Examples Running Error

when i'm trying to Run examples (no matter which one), it gimme this Error Message:

Error in modulel (cCompoundModule) AEPTest.client(id=2) (for each example, this section is different) during network setup:

Errirevaluating parameter 'tcpType': none of the following NED types available: TCP, TCP_lwIP, TCP_NSC,TCP_None.

how can i add these NED Types?

Perhaps you have disabled all TCP features? Check Project / properties / OMNeT++ / Project Features

no i checked all the boxes.

but the Error still remained.

i should mention that, i can not Run any of examples!

the OMNet++'s  examples are ok, the INET and ANETMANET are not working.

i think i found a solution if you are using windows.

Don't use the windows explorer to extract the omnet (and inet/inetmanet) source. Use 7zip. works for me

Hi guys!

I am new to OMNet++ and I am using the version 4.3
I am exactly facing the same problem right now and I have tried to enable all the TCP features as Rudolf said but it gets worse.
It creates several errors (with red marks).
So I wonder how you could overcome this problem.

i simulate a scenario of vanet in omnet++, but when i run it there is a problem about it.how i can solve it:

the problem message is:

<!> Error in module (TraCIScenarioManagerLaunchd) scenario.manager 

(id=6) during network initialization: Model error: Could not connect 
to TraCI server.Error message: 10061: Unknown error. 

TRAPPING on the exception above, due to a debug-on-errors=true 
configuration option. Is your debugger ready?

didnt face old problems :)

I am getting the same error can you please specify which inet and omnetpp version used . Also specify whether you used windows platoform or linux if you have used linux then which version used.

Hi guys,
I am using window 10 and i have installed omnet  5 and i have tried to installed inet but everytime its showing exclamation mark over inet and secondly no feature of tcp, client and server is showing. Can you please help me out

I also see an exclamation mark over inet and as a result cannot run some simulations like the VoIPStream projects. Any help please??

The VOIP features are DISABLED by default in INET because they have external dependencies. You should enable them (and install the required dependencies) . Project proeprties / OMNeT++ / Features.

It has taken me all a day to install INET. Just as Milad said, my OMNet++ samples run well. But I can not run INET examples. I also checked the features and tried to reinstall OMNeT and INET. It is still not work. I think many user has met this problem. Why there is not any official solution? Please help me to make my Inet work .

I was having the same problem but i fixed it. just download inet from github. clone it to ur omnet++. then only thing u have to do is to create your project folder inside the inet. it will work.

Guys please help me.

I have tried installing reinstalling (used winrar for extraction). I have tried omnetpp 4.6 and 5.0 both but inet examples are not running while omnetpp examples run fine
