Hello,

Does OMNeT++ and/or the INET Framework support the concept of network faults? By network fault I mean a device (or component of a device) breaks or fails to operate properly at some random point of the simulation. For example, a router or gate on a router becomes unavailable at simulation start time + 100 seconds.

I would like to develop experiments that examine how traffic is retransmitted and rerouted during faults caused by either faulty equipment or cyber attack.

Thanks,
Roger
