Hello Everyone,

I just downloaded the new version (1.3) of the veins-lte framework. I am currently on ubuntu 16.04, installed omnet++ 4.6 and sumo 0.25. Then, I imported the framework and I checked the project feature
With Inet frameork". After this point, I can not run the heterogeneous example. It throws the following error:

"Error: Error loading NED sources from `../veins': cannot temporarily change to directory `../veins' (does it exist?)."

I havent modified anything.

Can you suggest something?

Best Regards,
T

Hi,

did you also build the project?

Hi,

I just figured out the issue (the .nedfolders file contained a wrong entry).
The updated version can now be found on the website and on GitHub.

Best regards,
Florian Hagenauer

Hello Florian,

Thank you for the response.
That one fixed the problem that I had. Unfortunately, now I have another one:

After run as Omnet++ simulation I get the following in the console:

"<!> Error in module (Veins::TraCIScenarioManagerForker) scenario.manager (id=6) during network initialization: Error launching TraCI server ("sumo --remote-port 9999 --seed 0 --configuration-file heterogeneous.sumocfg"): exited with code 1. Make sure you have set $PATH correctly.."

After that, if I click on the run button despite the error I get:
"Error in module (Veins::TraCIScenarioManagerForker) scenario.manager (id=6) at event #2, t=0: Model error: TraCI server "sumo-launchd.py 1.00" reports API version 1, which is unsupported. We recommend using SUMO 0.26.0."
As I said, Im using the recommended sumo version 0.25...

Any suggestions?

Best Regards,
T

Error in module (Veins::TraCIScenarioManagerForker) scenario.manager (id=6) during network initialization: Error launching TraCI server ("sumo --remote-port 9999

Traci tries to connect with sumo with the port 9999, but in the capture, sumo starts in the ports 44044, 44038 …

Traci needs to connect to the same port that sumo is listening.

Hello,

I managed to run the simulation without running sumo-launchd.py. Now, another error:

Any suggestions?

EDIT: It seems that the issue is just when you run the simulation in a fast mode. In express mode no issues so far.

Hi,

we are aware of this issue - due to an error from SimuLTE you can run your simulation only in Express mode or (recommended) via the command line.

Hi,

please make sure to run sumo 0.25.0.
Which TraCI server version is reported by the error?

Best regards,
Florian Hagenauer
