Hi,
how to "Filter window contents" of simulation running using the OMNeT++/Tkenv, so the event low would show only messages that i care of i.e. my module's messages.
You can select it using ctrl+h, but doing so every time i run simulation is annoying.
So, is there a way to put it in omnetpp.ini?

Thank you in advance.

I would love to see a way to do this too. Has anyone figured it out?

I would like to dig up this thread - is this feature  available in the newest OMNeT++ 5.1 release?

I am using INET 3.5 and not interested in the log messages / events from the lower layer (e.g. the EthernetInterface). Turning these off in the "Filter window content" each time for each of my StandardHosts isn't very convenient.

I would love to hear if somebody figured this out or has a workaround.

Seeing that this has been a source of annoyance for multiple users for such a long time now, the "Log window filter" will be persistent between runs in the upcoming release of OMNeT++. Not configurable from the .ini file, but at least there is no need to set up the filter after every restart, only once per NED type. This is only in the new (now default) graphical runtime user interface, Qtenv.
