MiXim error,

Hello All,

I have already installed Inet and omnetpp4.6. I am using it for last year, I just added the MiXim for my other project needs. I imported the Mixim as per the instruction given in the file and build it, but it gives me a red mark on Mixim folder and seems there erros, when i try to run an exmaple it gives me following error;

'inet.mobility.IMMobility': no such module interface type

 and when i do the same from command line, it gives me this error.

/omnetpp-4.6/samples/MiXiM/src//libmixim.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Help would be highly apprecaited.

*DON'T* use mixim for new projects. MiXiM is no longer maintained and almost everything from the codebase was merged into INET 3.x

Dear Rudolf Hornig ,

I need to test a protocol developed by some one else, and it was designed to work with MixM-2.3, what should i do , the same above error still persists, please help, should i run MixiM 2.3 with inet-3xx ?
