Changing in Existing Mac layer protocols in omnet++

Hi all,i am trying to change existing mac layer protocol (B-Mac Protocol), by defining new parameters and states.But results doesn't change.Can anybody help me please....

You should use the debug and to check if the finite state machine enters in the new states.
