overhead cost dsdv

I simulate tcp reno with DSDV protocol,

when calculating overhead cost, value can be up to 30.41903386 why?

where DSDV is a proactive routing protocol and i think the value is smaller than that...

my scenario

the number of nodes 30

area 1000x1000

speed 2mps

i am using random way point mobility

Where are you measuring the cost?

If you are using the mac numbers, you are also counting the retransmissions

i am measuring the routing overhead in the AdhocHost.ned...

i use 2 throughtputs, one between networklayer to TCP protocol interface (networklayer--> throghtput -->TCP protocol) and one more between manetrouting to networklayer (manetrouting --> throughtput --> networklayer)...

If you increase the TCP data rate, the values will change,

The data rate of DSDV is constant.
