urgent help: not able to build, or run, error=2 no such file or directory

Could you please help me?
I downloaded source code of Joanne's from https://github.com/chaotictoejam/VANETProject/tree/oldinet, which combined INET and Veins(Thanks a lot for your sharing, Joanne). However, error message appears like the following when I run it:
''Exception occurred executing command line.
Cannot run program "/home/Toshiba/omnetpp-5.0/samples/VANETSim/src/VANETSim" (in directory "/home/Toshiba/omnetpp-5.0/samples/VANETSim/simulations/aodvuu"): error=2, No such file or directory''
I'm not able to build the project. When I right click VANETSim and choose Build Project, no react from IDE. Am I missing something? I run the omnetpp.ini file from /home/Toshiba/omnetpp-5.0/samples/VANETSim/simulations/aodvuu, but there is no VANETSim folder in src folder.
What should I do? Please help me Thank you so so much!

Are you sure that you have could build the program?
I have checked the repository and the file .cproject is not present, without this file eclipse cannot build the program

1. Thanks a lot for pointing that out. The repository is supposed to work but I never built it successfully before. I'm new in OMNet++. Would you please tell me what .cproject files are or give me an exanmple?
2. I'm simulating 802.11p with Veins. For all I know, there are no UDP(TCP)/IP in Veins, am I right?
3. I'm now trying to combine Veins with INet, using some Transport layer and Network layer mudules from INET in Veins. For example, I would like to use IUDP as the transport layer for Veins: I modified the Car.ned file in Veins, adding UDP related submodules and changing connections accordingly. However, problems just kept coming up. Could you please give me some suggestions on how to implement UDP and TCP in veins? Do I need to modify the NED file and then modify the corresponding C++ file? Another Problem is how to find the corresponding C++ file?

If you are using linux .project is a hidden file, any file that begin with a dot is a hidden file in a unix system

Thanks a lot! Is this .cproject named sth.cproject in the INET framework? I'm using INET 3.4.0, I searched for .cproject but couldn't find anything. As you said there's no .cproject presented in the repository, can I build one or something
in order to use the repository?

You cannot compile the project inside the IDE without the file, you can create a new using new project or you can copy from other project.
