4 weeks has gone by again. Are we having a meeting? Is a key holder available to open the door?

I think we've been skipping since April. Is this group dead? If your vote is no, please reply to this saying so, and what you want to present or what topics you would like to hear someone present. :)

And/or update our website / lead this thing. :)

Thanks,

j

P.S. Personally, I'm happy to skip since I'm doing another presentation Thursday night downtown:

I'm pretty busy atm with moving back and such, but I'd still be interested in this group. It would seem a shame for the perl mongers to die! I might be able to talk a bit about Groovy sometime. Would be interested in seeing more on modern perl stuffs.

Thanks,
Michael

I'd like to keep it around too, even if we don't always have something to meet about.

Maybe next time we can hack on the OMG Firlumber Rally website? We're looking to run another event this winter, but I'd like to revise the site to make race tracking easier.

It'll need some front-end work that's more than I know how to do, so I'm hoping maybe some of y'all with front-end experience can use it to show off some cool technology.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to keep it going. I haven't made any cool tech talks recently to give - they've all been weird neurological/psychological ones.

I'd be down with just crashing on a project at some point.

The Omaha Perl Mongers will never die, as long as I'm in town. :)

If OMG!Code interest ever wanes Omaha Perl Mongers will simply pack up and move to another umbrella group that's friendly to all languages (e.g. http://www.meetup.com/Omaha-Ruby-Meetup/) -- this week I'm presenting at both OMG!Code TONIGHT and Omaha Ruby and Open Source on Thursday. It's open source, but not Perl, but I still do Perl for a living, so I'm still defacto Perl Mongers leader... :)

See you tonight at OMG!Code! This quad copter open source software stuff is pretty amazing! :)
