  • Learn to use the Atmel SAM D21 ARM Cortex®-M0+ Xplained-Pro evaluation kit to control the ATWINC1500 WiFi link controller from Atmel.
  • Learn to use Atmel Studio to compile code for target devices.
  • Learn about Crypto Authentication and how to use the ATECC508A to secure your wireless networks with hardware authenticated keys.

·         Authenticate the temp sensor node and host application before being able to read the temperature information to avoid fake nodes

How to implement a secure communications link using a session key to and from the remote node to any phone or tablet on the network

Prerequisites
Software Requirements

 

·         Atmel Studio 6.2  Download Software (Atmel Studio Webpage)

·         Wireshark Packet Sniffer will be provided

 

Hardware Requirements

 

·         Attendees are required to bring a laptop with administrator rights.

·         Atmel will NOT supply computers at the training.

·         Laptop must have at least one Internet port and one free USB host connector.

 

Evaluation Kits Requirements

 

·         As part of your registration fee, you will receive the WINC1500 Xplained Pro starter kit as well as the CryptoAuthXplained kitto take home with you and the end of the training session.
