Hotels for KC Maker Faire

Anyone planning on heading down to Maker Faire this year (June 27 and 28) should be considering hotels at this point, because they're starting to fill up.

This year, a few of us will be at the Fairfield Inn Union Hill, which looks quite nice and is just down the street from Union Station.  In previous years, we've used the Oak Tree Inn, slightly further away but still an easy drive.  It's marginally cheaper and probably has more rooms available.  It doesn't entirely suck, but feels like a bit of a rip-off at the $100+/night they're asking for that weekend; it's more of a $70/night kind of place.

If you want to try your luck somewhere else, drive a bit further to save some cash, or want mints on your pillow and a hot tub in your room, there's plenty of other options to choose from.
