Anyone planning on heading down to Maker Faire this year (June 27 and 28) should be considering hotels at this point, because they're starting to fill up.
This year, a few of us will be at the
Fairfield Inn Union Hill, which looks quite nice and is just down the street from Union Station. In previous years, we've used the
Oak Tree Inn, slightly further away but still an easy drive. It's marginally cheaper and probably has more rooms available. It doesn't entirely suck, but feels like a bit of a rip-off at the $100+/night they're asking for that weekend; it's more of a $70/night kind of place.
