OMG,

I'll be dropping off the eclipse viewing glasses today, and they'll be available in the office area leading up to the event on the 21st.  I tested one out already--can confirm that you can see the sun without having to avert your eyes...which was kind of weird in a good way.

Glasses are free, but a donation of $1-2 per item to the tool fund is always appreciated.  There's a bin for donations in the front room.

Hi Travis,
Stopped by to pick up a pair of eclipse glasses but their either gone or relocated.  If they were just relocated I'd like to grab two pairs Thursday.

Thanks!

Is there any sort of OMG group going to see the eclipse? I'll get to Omaha on the 18th to see it. Will any one be at the space on the 20th I got all day free.

I don't think anyone has expressed getting together as a group, but you're more than welcome to start something.

I'm not planning to be there on the 20th, but a lot can happen in the next 9 days.  :-)

Ironically, on the day of I'll probably be at work and will only step out of the office and look up.  Wish that it weren't so, but I've been out of the office quite a bit lately.

Same here.  Our department will likely go out front and look up, but not planning anything specific.  Going to rely on the excellent streaming content from NASA and The Weather Channel.
