Augmented Reality Sandbox

I've seen a few videos for these, and was able to play with one at the childrens museum over the weekend.  With 4 children or more playing in it at once, the one at the museum kept up pretty well.

I'm wondering if I install this on a Raspi2 if that would keep up or if I'd need something more robust.  I have a projector and a kinect that I can get started with, and I can probably find a computer to put a distro on...   just need to finish this before our next maker faire.
