The Lab houses a variety of kits for purposes of prototyping and STEM learning. Lego Mindstorms, littleBits Pro Library, RaspberryPi, and other kits may be used by patrons in the Lab. Kits, kit pieces, projects, and robots do not circulate.

The official opening of this space is September 5th, but if any of you want to come by and visit before that date you are more than welcome. I am here Mon-Thurs. evenings and on Saturdays.  Also if any of you would like to help with any projects, it would be very welcomed. We unfortunately don’t have the same kind staffing numbers or money that the Do Space has so we really would appreciate any help.

Feel free to ask me any question you have. My name is Creighton and I have been a member of OMG for a while, so some of you may recognize me.

     Thanks,

     Creighton

P.S. I hope to swing by late on Founding Day too if you would like to talk

Wow!  Great stuff!  For those of us who live over on the Omaha side of the bridge, what do we need to know in order to use this facility and this great equipment?

Thanks!

Check-out of items like the cameras will probably be limited to people with Council Bluffs Public Library cards, but use of the equipment and software at the facility will be open to all.
