Yesterday at the Maker Faire Bay Area I stopped by the Cadsoft Eagle booth looking for a sticker for my laptop. They only had badges... stinking badges...
Long story short I started chatting with the guy running the booth. We discussed maker spaces and that they will often support maker spaces with knowledge sessions/webinars and sometimes sponsor competitions or events with a software license giveaway. I explained that we don't have a lot of people doing electronics design but maybe a webinar might help with getting some of our members started. I got his contact info and told him I'd gauge interest.
Anyone up for this? It would probably be very basic and focus on through-hole electronics design. If you are in to surface mount stuff, you probably have been using Eagle or another CAD product for a while already.
