Over the past week or so, Ben,Dave and I have been spending some time getting the electronics bench whipped into shape.

So far, we've tested one signal generator (works fine), repaired the time/div dial on the oscilloscope, and have begun evaluation on a second signal generator (tubes are good, needs recapped. Might not be worth it.)

Last night, we started discussing that it might be time for a proper adjustable benchtop power supply.  Heretofore we've been using modified ATX power supplies for most of our DC needs. While that works for many common applications, it's somewhat limited in that its not current limited, and has virtually no power at voltages greater than 12v.

A bit of research turned up this 30v, 10amp current limited model for $73.  This same power supply is sold all over the place under various brands, and appears to be quite well reviewed.

I'm in for the first $15, leaving $60 up for grabs.  Anyone else interested?

I don't have any foreseeable need, but I know it's important for the space. I'm in for $15 too.

I have a variant of that supply, I can recommend it too. Some of them have a bit of a voltage spike on power-on, but there are instructions available for fixing that if it's a problem.

I'm in for $15.
