Hi all!

Just wanted to update you on some things decided at our Fall Board meeting last night:

1.  We elected officers.  I was re-elected as President, and James was re-elected as Treasurer.  Art Doler succeeds Ben as Vice President.  Thank you, Ben, for your continued leadership and service to our organization!

2.  A small increase in dues is coming.  There will be a "grandfathered in" provision for existing members, and a chance to upgrade your membership before the rates increase.  More on that to come soon.

3.  We are now formally looking for a new space.  Ben is going to lead our search efforts, with Kevin and Sarah to assist.  They will also likely seek help from OMG members, and anyone who finds a potential space is welcome to submit it to them.  There will be separate communication from them, but we are looking for a space in the 2,000-sq-ft range, approximately $1,000/month total rent.  Want to stay in the same general neighborhood, in an area bounded by 72nd to the East, 108th to the West, Center to the North, and L to the South.

4.  We need to address some "member code of conduct" issues.  We want to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable to enjoy the space and work on their projects, without feeling pressured or offended.  Look for announcements on that at future meetings.
