Team Lost - join me?

I’m not sure if this message will be read  (cf. Fawei’s posting)…

 

For those who are floundering (I know I am but then I took a few days out because of being sick!) I have a proposal.

 

I would like a team or a group to work with and I’m not sure of the difference, also I haven’t seen anyone else who wants to work on a similar project to mine so:

 

I would like to propose a  “Team Lost” – a virtual  group - in order to:

 

·         Provide a smaller group than this huge one for discussions and activities as per this MOOC

·         Share one another’s projects (if you have one)

·         Comment and feed back on each others’ projects (whether you have one or not)

·         Share what we’ve learned

 

Active participants with projects, dabblers, commenters and lurkers welcome.

 

Feel free to respond here or to me personally and I will then:

 

Create a Team cloud in Cloudworks

Respond to everyone

We can then agree whether we need a separate space for discussion or carry on in Google groups in public…

 

How does that sound?

I was interested to read this as I've had a similar experience in terms of trying to set up a single area and a single mode of communication between interested parties. I found Cloudworks too confusing for the uninitiated and although I haven't used Goggle Groups before, this seemed a good opportunity to experiment in a more intuitive environment.

I've tried to get the the Group information to all the people who've been in touch through various means but it feels there are too many gaps for messages to fall through. 

The Massiveness of this MOOC is an interesting learning experience - is there too much technology and is that in itself proving to be a barrier to participation. 

Good luck with Team Lost; I'd be interested to 'lurk' and see how it goes - we are almost neighbours!

I ran away and hid under the duvet - I have never really taken to Cloudworks, though tried to engage a few years ago - and have found the lack of navigation problematic in this MOOC.  I will join team lost too if I may!
