Develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible for
directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance.
Education/Experience
o Bachelor degree in
computer science or equivalent training required
o 5-7 years
related experience required

o Verbal and written communication

Knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Design,
build or maintain web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content
creation tools, management tools and digital media
o Write,
design, or edit web page content
o Perform web site
updates
o Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer
feedback and correct problems
o Evaluate code to ensure it is
valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation
systems
o Confer with management or development teams to
prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose
solutions
o Develop or validate test routines and schedules to
ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces

Notes from the
manager: Desired skill set: * Front-end Dev Skills: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, and
jQuery. * Write well-formed Javascript/jQuery, HTML, and CSS code. * Use and
extend front-end libraries. * Integrate front-end code with other technologies
including RESTful API's, server side code, and web services. * Able to write
some server side code (i.e. PHP) as needed. * Collaborate with visual designers
and user experience designers to create and improve on interfaces * Build
prototypes from visual designs that match look and feel, and follow style
guides
