1. What happened?

We had three great talks. Details below.

Her slides are forthcoming. Check the ottawaruby.ca blog for an update later.

Sorry for not getting this sent out sooner.

2. What's Up for November 25th?

First off, please note that this month's meetup will be on a Wednesday, not on Tuesday.

So far, we have two talks lined up for this month's meetup:

2.1 Lightning Talk: Nick Nikolov will be giving a talk titled "Booleans... with three possible values?"

Description: When using RoR with MySQL the boolean fields may end up having a third, unexpected value. This presentation will explain why and how this might happen and what to do if you wish to correct it.

2.2 Zhifu Ge will be giving us a talk about… something. ;)

Topic to be determined. Check the meetup page for updates.

3. Call for an Intermediate/Advanced Talk

We're looking for an Intermediate or Advanced talk for November.

Feel free to email back if you'd like to give a talk, or fill in this Talk Proposal Form.
