Question for those who get their ODSP directly deposited into your
bank account...I know the money is to be there one full banking day at
the end of the month, but do any of you know what time it is actually
deposited or if there is a set time? I'm quite curious. I know CPPD
goes in once it hits 3 a.m. EST.

Thanks.

Hi Mar

as I understand it. it really depends on your bank.
at mine, Scotiabank, it can range from 12:05 'til 9:00am

though my buddy is with the Bank of Montreal and his is in after 6:00pm the evening before.

I personally have never found it to be any time... Some get it after 12
and some at 7am... makes no sense to me, but maybe the banks have
something to do with that? All know for sure it is in my bank (Royal)
when I get there...

There are two things that can happen with the direct deposit from ODSP

1) it will arrive on the last friday of the month (in the wee hrs of the morning), if the
1st of the next month falls on a saturday or sunday.

2) or it will arrive the last day of the month, by morning. when you get up, its there,
    deposited direct in your account.

I've noticed mine, on several ocassions, arrives anywhere between 3.30am and 4.30am consistently.
I suppose the computers start releasing the direct deposits in alphabetical or numerical order so wherever
you/we are positioned in this formula will pretty much accurately predict what time of the morning your
direct deposit happens. At least that's how it seems to go for me, here in Ottawa, I can't be sure if it
works differently in other locales; but im fairly sure it works the same all over ontario....

I'm not sure about everyone else but I deal with BMO and it is
deposited into my bank account right at midnight. Also if we are
supposed to recieve a cheque on a monday my bank puts it in there on
Saturday.
