Hi Brian
It always looks so spiffy when road markings are marked well, and looks great on the yonder side of Obs and the CBD.
Is work still continued elsewherein Obs.
I however request the One Way road markings spruced up in Scott and also in others, in order to try and discourage the one-way offenders.
Thanks
James

PS: The Street Sign poles looks great all dolled up again. Some are still a bit tipsy from the abuse before, but alas, Obs is still under reconstruction I dare say. Just Watch This OBSPACE!

If the OBSID is helping out with road markings thats great.

Another way to do it is with the C3 notification system.

You can call, email, or sms. How ever you do it make sure you get you
C3 notification number - then you know the problem is in the system.
This will also allow you to follow up. So if you can complain about
poor road markings it goes in the system and if it has not been
remedied in a couple of weeks/months you can request a follow up - but
only if you have the number!

the email is Conta...@capetown.gov.za

I have also seen cont...@capetown.gov.za on the net

You should in any case receive and autoreply with a ref number.

Outstanding items are flagged automatically by the system after a
certain amount of time.

Here is the info in the signature of Councillor THomas' emails (note
the emailk address he supplies)

For all service delivery queries or complaints please make use of the
C3 electronic reporting system.
Call 0860103089 OR
e mail cont...@capetown.gov.za OR
SMS 31373 (no more than 160 characters)
Your contact is logged & a unique reference number enables tracking
for progress.

If you are not having joy contact Brian who can log C3 for the Obsid.
Brian will no doubt reply but he mentioned in due course that the
Obsid would get some direct C3 access some time ion the future to make
things even easier.

We should probably get this summary up on the Web site as a permanent
reference (if it is not there already)
