Baseline

Is there a way to get the distance between the baseline of a string in a control containing text and the bottom of this control ?

In CPFont, i see there are already methods related to metrics (ascender, descender). In controls containing text there is a bezel-inset and a content-inset theme attribute. Is there a direct relation between descender and content-inset that could help me to implement -baselineOffsetFromBottom ?
