Dear Ogden Area Linux Users Group,
Guru Labs will be holding a development workshop on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm.
Title: Personal 3D Printing and Why
Presenter: Adam Bosen
Description: 3D printers used to be for large corporations with deep pockets, but
recent developments in the industry have made it possible for every
household to have their own. Adam Bosen bought a kit to build a fused
deposition modeling 3D printer in May 2013 and can't imagine life
without it. Adam uses it for home repairs, toys, gifts, decorations, and
personal inventions. 3D printing turns your imaginations into tangible
objects within a few hours. Adam will present an overview of current 3D
printing techniques and share his experiences with 3D printing. Adam
predicts that 3D printers will become as commonplace as desktop PCs and
laser printers. Come see his printer in action and see why you need one
too.
