· Engage with internal business partners to ensure that policies and standards align with company priorities and applicable contractual obligations, laws, regulations, and related health care industry practices. · Audit & assess company compliance with technical requirements of regulatory and contractual environment including the creation, review and periodic updating of policies, standards, contingency plans and awareness materials for end users. · Create and drive company compliance initiatives. · Identify potential security exceptions, work to resolve business requirements, escalate matters requiring management attention and oversee timely and effective remediation of vulnerabilities in the company systems and applications. · Develop and document standard operating procedures and process maps for the performance of risk management activities. · Communicate and promote the sound implementation of policies, standards and procedures throughout the organization. · Monitor and evaluate external security trends and best practices for policy adoption within the company. · Support end-users, including a contact center environment of 40+ agents, using Windows and Macintosh systems · Develop, document, update and manage patch and deployment policies. · Maintain and deploy server, network and storage hardware (RAID, Networking, Backups). · Assist the IT Operations Manager in the configuration and management of: o Managing Linux/LAMP servers (Ubuntu and CentOS). o Avaya IP Office phone system o EMC fiber channel SAN (VNX) o Cisco network (ASA, switches) · All other duties as assigned by your supervisor. |

· Minimum six years of broad System Administrator experience in diverse OS/network environments (Strong Linux; Macintosh a plus). · Experience working with, and ideally writing, information security policies and standards and/or developing or implementing security-related tools · Significant writing experience. · Experience designing, building and supporting virtualized environments (VMware preferred). · Solid understanding of networking (e.g. switching, routing, and firewalls) and networking services/protocols (e.g. DNS, DHCP, HTTP etc.) · Excellent documentation and process adherence. · Experience managing IDS, and patch management maintaining a secure IT infrastructure. · Team player that is self-motivated, persistent, and proactive in driving results but can be creative and flexible in overcoming obstacles · Organized and methodical about managing multiple tasks simultaneously without letting important details get overlooked or getting overwhelmed
