Notes from last nights meeting!

looks like the new website is well on its way to getting updated, we
have a new packet station repeater to play with, and we took a look at
club licenses....

Budd is trustee for K7ZC, which needs to be renewed on the 12th next
month, you'll have to actually go to the fcc site and deal with the
renewal there, the qrz renewal link doesn't work for club calls =(

I am also getting an order ready for ebay to get all the stuff needed
for the baofeng mic connectors, I personally like using db9 connectors
as there is tons of equipment that use the standard kpc3 pinout, so I
plan on ordering a few sets of db9 male/female and a bunch of the db9
hoods for it. I also have a bunch of spare ps2 cables that I plan on
cutting to make the cords from the rig to the udrc.

personally I find going the db9 route for all connectors really nice as
now I can use my baofeng rig with the udrc, the signalink, and the kpc3
that I have, as well as all my other rigs with the same modems (though I
don't think 1200 baud packet on hf is really acceptable.....)

So what I need is a head count for who would like what, here is what I
will be getting:

- db9 female connectors

- db9 male connectors (if I don't have enough)

- db9 hoods

- baofeng speaker mic connectors


let me know what you guys want/need and i'll start ordering and get it
moving!
