Hello MBARC Digital Groupers;

Budd brought his QRpp transmitter project to the past couple of meetings.  If you are wondering what you can do with that kind of rig, check out this link:

https://www.amateurradio.com.au/news/vk-pico-balloon-range-south-america

This New Zealander has been launching tiny transmitters as balloon payloads that cover amazing distances.  We are talking about a small "party" balloon like you can buy at the grocery store, not a large weather balloon.

Neat stuff.

Reminder that $10 dues are "due" for 2015, payable by check to MBARC-Digital Group at Box 981  Bellingham 98227  Here is a form link if you like:

Please allow me some time to perform my treasurer's duty amassing the paid member info which I will share at the next meeting.

We are still meeting at the Ferndale Library on third Tuesdays at 7pm
