Problems with plugin installations

I have a NW6.5 OES (sp4) server that also hosts our main web pages. When I
logged into iManager, I noticed it was version 2.0.2 so I decided to upgrade
to 2.5. I am trying to get Universal Password and PSS running but when I
look at the main login page and click on the link for View Details for Roles
and Tasks that are not available the Roles for Password all show :
NoClassDefFoundError - com/novell/admin/dirxmlcommon/DirXMLCommon-- what
does this mean?
I tried installing pwd_mgmt_2.0.2_nw_lin_sol.jar (following TID 10097107-
http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?10097107.htm ) But I
get errors in the logger screen. So I then tried extracting the .npm files
and using iManager to import them but it does not work (tried with Plugin
Studio and New Module Install). Any suggestions? TIA

I saw the other day were XP was incorrectly saving the file as a .zip
instead of leaving the file name as .npm, could this bee the case?

I would remove the plugins that you updated, restart the java services,
then try to install the plugin again.

Did you resolve your problem? I'm having a very similar issue.

Seems like upgrading imanager to v2.5 may have created a catch22.

1. The "pwd_mgmt_2.0.2_nw_lin_sol.jar" only works for imanager 2.0x, and
2. The password related npm files for imanager 2.5 only work with identity
manager

Nope, and actually the problem(s) have gotten worse. This all started
because I want to use Radius to authenticate Wireless clients and to use
Radius with eDir it requires Universal Password. Now, since Universal
Password also enables Password Self Service I thought it would be cool to go
that route. As you mentioned, Password Management only works with either
iManager 2.0.2 or Virtual Office. I found out about the 2.0.2 snafu too
late, so I thought "okay, I'll set up Virtual Office, which I was
unsuccessful on two NW6.5 sp4 servers, one with iMan 2.5 and the other
2.0.2. To make matters worse, now my iManager 2.0.2 is totally broken! I
need it because I administer Identity Manager and dirxml on this server!!
When I try to open the iMan web page I get the following:

shed some light I would greatly appreciate it.I think that I need to remove
the "loader" statements for VO from Tomcat but I do not know where to find
