Everybody knows the best 8-bitter is the 6809 ;-)

Auto Increment Decrement

Program Counter Relative Addressing

and not to mention every young assembly language programmers favourite instruction:

"Sign Extend Accumulator A into Accumulator B" or otherwise known by its mnemonic S E X
