Christmas Window Installation Weekend

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that this weekend we're aiming to get the Christmas Window completed and installed (and running)! Please can I ask that if you have anything currently in the window or in/around the workbench in the front room, to move it out the way ASAP to make things easier?

If anyone fancies helping out, please feel free to come in and lend a hand. Most of the main components are built now but there are likely to be quite a few little jobs to do to get everything finished, fitted, painted etc. and all the main features linked together. There's still some scope for some last minute extra features to be added too if you have any ideas.

Sorry but I don't plan on coming in for very long at all this evening. I have a puncture to repair and I need to pack a bag for later this week. I'm hoping that my contribution has been adequate, and the people that are working on the track are plenty. Not that I would be of much use there, since I've been pretty much always in the other room paying attention to big bird assembly!

Unless there is need tomorrow evening in Iain's absence, I'll not be in tomorrow either, nor Wednesday (travelling to Manchester in the evening) and very unlikely on Thursday too (travelling back from Manchester). I'll possibly be able to get in on Friday if more assistance is needed with (most likely, at this stage) track layout.
