Mephisto 'Laser' Walking Shoe (Women) I am 53 years old and have very sore feet - mostly due to osteoarthritis and having had occupations where I am on my feet most of the day. I work in health care and would wear athletic shoes or Keen shoes but these are more comfortable than either of those. From the moment I tried them on (in Nordstrom), they felt like "my" shoes! There was NO break-in period, and they were comfortable from day one. My feet are narrow and bony, and I could not believe how comfortable. I did add a thin memory foam footbed, because of the nature of my trip, but really, it is not necessary.
