Unfortunately, when I opened the box the first thing I noticed was the sort of fake-looking leather that they are made from. Plus, they almost have a dark reddish color instead of the deep brown that I thought the picture showed. Then when I put them on, they were not stiff and firm around my legs like I wanted (instead they were slightly wrinkly and droopy at my ankles).
