Timberland Earthkeepers® 'Savin Hill - Chukka' Bootie These boots are super comfortable and are great with jeans, slacks, and/or just about anything you want to wear with them. No breaking in required. I wore them for the first time and felt immediate comfort. There is a removable sole inside, I'm not sure if this is standard for all Timberland boots. I would definitely recommend these boots. Definitely strongly recommend them! "These boots have been a dream come true. They've been comfortable enough to wear all day straight out of the box. The leather is substantial, but after a week of wear, I can feel it flexing to shape my feet and ankles, which is great for ongoing comfort. No rubbing, no blisters. I have a high instep, which often make me size up from a 7, which is most accurate to my foot size, to a 7 1/2. That was unnecessary here with the flexibility of the lacing. I want to wear these every day. My only complaint keeping me from giving 5 stars is that I wish the tread was a little more slip resistant - the heel is smooth rubber and the main foot section has few tread cut-outs. I've found it to be a little slippery walking down these Seattle hills in the rain."
