SoftWalk® 'Napa' Flat This is a wonderful shoe! And it is beautiful too! With a very soft smooth leather in a perfect and rare peach color! Obviously very quality made -- BUT, I found the insole gathered up at the toes and caused wrinkles, which became VERY uncomfortable under my toes! What an absolute shame -- I loved these shoes, and they have many details that show the intended outcome to have a most comfortable shoe. They have good cushioning, and they look totally classy too! I ordered them in 8.5 wide, which was refreshing that they were available in the wide. Overall, the fit was pretty good, but I found that the toes were a bit tight. So I am returning them, because wearing them was not a pleasure. I was constantly aware of what I was walking on - something bumpy and crumpled up inside. Also, the label which was very nicely sewn inside under the heel, became aggravating too. I could feel the stitches and the thickness of the leather label, which made it an uneven surface for the weight of my heel to walk on. Now, these are all subtle things that many people may not notice. So if you are not super-sensitive, you may actually love these shoes! They are super great quality, but the bottom line was my foot was sensitive to these little details. If you love the look, try them yourself, and test your luck -- maybe they will work for you! First things first: I consider myself relatively honest on SoftWalk® 'Napa' Flat products. It is the best price we discovered. Excellent Product. "The color of these shoes is vibrant, yet they are quality enough to be appropriate for a work or dinner outfit. The sole is soft and the arch support is wonderful. The leather is also soft. However, and this is certainly a nuance of my particular foot, they just don't fit quite right. I fit well into wolkys, el naturalista, and most shoe brands, so I'm afraid I can't identify why these ones haven't been as comfortable as I'd hoped. I've worn them significantly and the length is right, but I'm still getting blisters, and after a few hours I wish I was wearing a pair of worn-in heels instead.
