There's a huge amount of room in the rear seat area (seriously, why so dumpy in the back?) and then you get to the thighs and they are skin tight and then they do a slight flare out on the calves. I'll keep searching for a great fitting pair of chinos, but these aren't it. On the plus side, the inseam is quite long (I wear a 36" inseam and these wouldn't' need taken out if I wasn't returning them).
