I have a massive node.js project, originally it was in c++ (about a decade ago) but I've rewritten it a few times since.  I'm curious if anyone knows a good place to recruit for personal projects (possible profit potential but for any reasonable consideration that's still some time off) that involve node.js and systems level (grid computing, database engine, managed code engine, etc) programming?

If you're recruiting without pay, then the usual resources are out. You're going to have to rely on your network, friends, etc. There's nothing special about Node for this.

You could try open-sourcing everything that isn't critical to the monetization, provided there's value in those components... you might be able to attract people from the larger community (github, npm, etc).  Also, blogging about what you're working on and doing.. it will take away from the work, you'll need to split your time between screenshots, code snippets and actual writing the articls vs. the pure coding, but good articles or series can create interest.

Well, posting to this mailing list is a start.  If you could elaborate more on the project and incentives for people helping you maybe someone hear would even be so kind as to volunteer.
