ktc is looking for a NodeJS developer with experience in the development of web applications and with advanced knowledge about: Javascript (Obviously), NPM, Linux Shell, GIT, etc. to collaborate with our development team based in Mexico City. You will be part of am mixed development team of around 3 people. This team is responsible for our web, mobile and tablet projects for different accounts.
Your main task will be to develop web applications on NodeJS, and other Javascript frameworks on front and back end. Occasionally, you will have to collaborate in the development of PHP, HTML, Javascript(Front-end) and sometimes administrating the servers infrastructure. Your skills and experience in analysis, architecture, and testing, as well as your social skills will have a strong use in our dynamic organization. Your location will be in Anzures, Mexico City and in some cases you will be asked to get involved in projects at our National and International customers locations.
Necessary to apply (experience and knowledge in):
• NodeJS framework : Intermediate: Advanced.
• Javascript Frameworks (Jquery, modernizr, Backbone, Underscore, etc): Intermediate - Advanced.
• MySQL: Intermediate - Advanced.
• MongoDB: Basic - Intermediate.
• HTML5 and CSS3: Basic - Intermediate.
• Design frameworking: Intermediate - Advanced. (convert a PSD to HTML5/CSS3).
• Adobe Photoshop: Basic (for frameworking, not for design).
Desirable to apply (extra points):
• Geek attitude (our team is formed by around 40 people from 23 to 33, geeks).
• Willingness to keep learning.
• Participation in a Campus Party (preferably in development of SM).
• Have an active Github account
