Can node-red-contrib-web-worldmap save the markers I send to it?

Hello all,

I'm using node-red v0.17.5 and node-red-contrib-web-worldmap 1.1.3. I can easily plot markers on the map by sending messages with name, lat and lon populated. However, I've noticed that when I refresh or close and re-open the map *after* the markers have been plotted, they disappear. Is there any way for the map to persist the markers, so that I can open it up at any time and see their last positions?

Hi

no - it is up to the server side (Node-RED app) to preserve any data and resend it when necessary. The worldmap input node reports when someone connects - so this can be used to trigger a flow that retrieves the data and resends it.
