Separating document text file into chapters/sections

Hi,

i have a single text document which has a book. In are things like 

... snip ...

Chapter I

text 

 ..snip ...

Now i would like to break up the document such that i can query for the text of chapter I etc...

Does nltk provide any sort of capability of that sort? If not, is there a tool that does?
