Sections - limiting Previous post and Next post to within one section

I am using Nikola sections, configured via the "directory structure" as described in the documentation.

The feature works great, but I have a question about the "Next post" and "Previous post" links at the bottom of the pages. At the moment one of the "Previous post" links links to a page in the different section. I'd prefer for these links to be limited their own section.

I have re-read the Section documentation and I don't see anything that would change this. Have I somehow setup Nikola sections incorrectly? If not, is this a worthy enhancement?
