Hi,

I am using the "Creating a site (not a blog) and get directory listing" - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/nikola-discuss/esBFYeMDyro configuration.

I am planning to use Org-mode files for a Nikola site, and I would like to let the relative links in my org files point to the right file in my source files (Org-mode make those relative links click-able).
Therefore I wold like to have the same directory structure in my source tree as in the /output/ folder, and my plan is to move
posts, stories, files, listenings, galleries, images into a new folder named src and change my conf.py to reflect that (perpended 'src/' to the source folder names (not second argument which is output folder name).
Then it works fine, except for files folder which is mapped to the root of the output folder, but I think I can live with that - I don't have any files there :-).

But are there any pitfalls that I should be aware of?

Br,
Benny

Hopefully that's it :-)

the files folder can mapped anyway you want (I found this out a few days)

I believe the conf.py variables is FILES_FOLDER and it is a dictionary where you can map folders in your nikola site to folders in the output dir. I used to recently to map a files folder in theme to the root output dir
