Birds in stores

Is there a good way to get birds out of a store such as Hannaford in new London? The windows don't open, there's a high ceiling with pipes and things, the doors don't open directly to outside.

The manager said things were under control. I think she means they'll be "dispatched."

I had a not very long-handled net and couldn't even get close.
