am migration watch from Rye Harbor SP (7 CATEs and 3K DCCOs)

Lisa and I did a mini migration watch this morning for about 3.45 hours at Rye Harbor SP--nice day with some good numbers.

South-bound critters

Canada Goose-63
scoter sp.-11
Red-throated Loon-4 (1 fairly close, 3 others quite distant)

Double-crested Cormorant-3,416 (many skeins; groups varied greatly: 572, 420, 215, 153, 89, 21, etc)
Black-bellied Plover-3
Caspian Tern-7, all immatures in one group; photo of three together:

Other critters not migrating

Laughing Gull-1 on Jennes Beach
Grey seal-1 little cutie frolicking near the lobster buoys
