Black-Throated Green Warbler, Nashua/Others

I hit a few "downtown" area spots this morning and finished up in Hollis.

In Nashua, fairly birdy but nothing unusual till I spotted this little mite flitting between the Hemlocks, deciduous trees and the weedy patches in the Greeley Park gardens, a male Black-throated Green Warbler:


The Northern Shrike at Woodmont Drive continues.  I caught up with it today, an alert and personable little butcherbird:

I got an eBird alert that Chris McPherson had a Bobwhite at the High School, so mosied over there.  I did hear the bird call ("Low Call"), a series of five or six calls, given once, but was unable to see the bird.  It was in very dense brush and thicket growth past the edge of the parking lots in front of the school.

With most of the leaves down, Cooper's Hawks are suddenly easier to see.  I noted three today, this one watching the baseball field at Hollis/Brookline High:
