A few random sightings from this weekend.....

CLAY-COLORED SPARROW - I finally relocated Len's Clay-colored Sparrow
today in Exeter.  It wasn't at a feeder, so not sure if it will stay
there.  But today it was off Jady Hill Road opposite the Golf Course
with House Sparrows.  This is my first January record for a Clay-colored
Sparrow in NH.

Northern Pintail - 3 males today.  One in Wheelright Creek in Exeter and
two together with a Green-winged Teal in ocean just south of Pulpit
Rocks in Rye.

Green-winged Teal - 1 male with Pintails in ocean south of Pulpit Rocks
in Rye.  NOT at Petey's.

Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1 yesterday off Dearborn Road, just south of
Bayside Road in Greenland.  In thickets along Brackett Brook with
Yellow-rumped Warbler and other birds.

Merlin - 1 today off Great Bay Road in Greenland near RR Tracks.

Red-shouldered Hawk - 1 adult on the side of Rt. 101 (WB) in Exeter,
east of Rt. 108 exit.  Apparently seen by Leo Mckillop today as well! 
Perhaps the same bird seen by K. Wilmarth on 1/7.

Winter Wren - 1 off Sagamore Road in Portsmouth in cattail marsh behind
Sagamore Court apartments.

Razorbill - 20 along coast this evening.  PERFECT conditions in late
afternoon.

Black Guillemot - 2 along coast this evening (Pulpit Rocks & Little
Boar's Head).  Rather scarce recently.

Purple Sandpipers - Small flock at Seal Rocks today.  Larger flock of
40+ at Rye Ledge yesterday.

Snowy Owl - 1 at dusk off Cross Beach Road in Seabrook.

Peregrine Falcon - 1 perched on Hampton harbor bridge at dusk.
