Conneticut river Monroe again

Paddled up the river again tonight putting in at the Monroe NH Barnet VT bridge. This evenings trip produce 2 Great Blue Herons. Four eagles. Two mature and two juvenile one of which was a this years hatch. He screamed from a dead tree along the river side the entire evening for someone to bring him some food. Also saw 16 night hawks flying South following the Vermont shoreline. One was a solo bird and the other 15 were spread out in a flock that took about a minute to pass by. Other than a few swallows feeding up high tonight and several crows  that was it for birds. There were 3 unhappy beavers spread out up and down the river.
