This morning on my way to Concord I did see the Sandhill Crane in the middle of the field on Rt 127.  It was still there at the back end when I came back through at 5:30.  This evening we went for for a walk in Elmbrook Park and I could see a Great Egret on the opposite side from the beach.  It was starting to get dark so my picture was not clear.  There was also an Eastern Meadowlark in the fields where they fly model planes.

I was at Pondicherry midday and took the trail to Little Cherry Pond and was dive bombed by a Cooper's Hawk on the .6 mile trail near the junction that was closest to the pond.  I lost my sunglasses ducking from the attacks.  I'm thinking it may have a nest so if anyone is out there be careful!
