Option to build RPM rather than install?

I've been building from source for some time, but it seems that each version changes the paths or download location, and it's becoming time consuming.  As a result, I've opted to use the automated install found here: https://www.modpagespeed.com/doc/build_ngx_pagespeed_from_source, using custom options. 

In order to promote to production, I'd now have to re-run the script with the dev tools on the prod servers.  Is there an option to build an RPM file rather than install directly?  I know I can use other tools to do this, but would be nice to just have to copy an RPM and install rather than having to start from scratch each time.
